Mechanical SupervisorMission Critical Data Centre ProjectLocation: FinlandSector: Data Centre / Mission Critical ConstructionThe OpportunityA leading international contractor is delivering a major data centre project in Finland and is seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to oversee all site-based mechanical works. This is a key role on a high-profile, mission-critical development, providing the opportunity to ensure the efficient and safe installation of complex mechanical systems.As Mechanical Supervisor, you will work closely with site management, engineers, and subcontractors to coordinate mechanical activities, maintain high quality standards, and ensure timely delivery in line with programme requirements.The RoleYou will supervise mechanical installation works on site, supporting the delivery team and ensuring all systems are installed safely, correctly, and to specification. Your hands-on experience and leadership will be crucial in maintaining productivity, quality, and compliance across a technically demanding project.Key Duties• Supervise and coordinate all mechanical site activities, including MEP systems, pipework, HVAC, chillers, pumps, and associated infrastructure• Lead and support mechanical trades and subcontractors to ensure efficient delivery of works• Ensure all mechanical installations are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications, and programme milestones• Monitor site progress and report on productivity, quality, and safety performance• Conduct regular inspections and ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies• Assist in the preparation and implementation of method statements, risk assessments, and lift plans• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to resolve technical and sequencing issues• Maintain accurate site records, progress reports, and quality documentation• Support commissioning and handover of mechanical systemsAbout You• Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor on large-scale construction projects, ideally within data centres or mission-critical facilities• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems including HVAC, chilled water, pumps, and MEP installations• Knowledge of European standards and regulations for construction and mechanical works• Excellent communication and team leadership skills• Proactive, organised, and able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environmentWhat’s on OfferCompetitive salary and packageAccommodation and rotation support (where applicable)Flights and travel allowancePerformance-related bonusHealthcare and pensionThe opportunity to work on a flagship, technically complex data centre project in Finland, developing your career within a leading international contractor
