With a strong pipeline of hyperscale data centres and regulated pharmaceutical developments, the business is expanding its senior electrical leadership team to support long-term growth.This role offers senior technical ownership, genuine flexibility through hybrid and remote working, and the opportunity to influence electrical design strategy on some of Europe’s most technically demanding projects.As Electrical Design Lead, you will be responsible for leading the electrical design function across multiple projects, ensuring safe, resilient, and compliant electrical systems from concept through to construction and commissioning support. You will act as the senior technical authority, working closely with clients, multidisciplinary design teams, and construction partners.Key ResponsibilitiesLead electrical design delivery across data centre and pharmaceutical projectsTake ownership of design quality, compliance, and client technical standardsDevelop and review HV/LV systems, UPS, generators, power distribution, and resilience strategiesCoordinate electrical designs with mechanical, CSA, and process teamsEnsure compliance with local regulations, international standards, and client specificationsProvide technical leadership through all project stages including construction and commissioningInterface directly with clients, contractors, and key stakeholdersSupport value engineering, constructability reviews, and risk managementMentor and develop junior and intermediate electrical engineersRequirementsDegree qualified in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering10+ years’ experience in electrical building services designStrong background in data centres and/or pharmaceutical facilitiesProven experience leading electrical design teams on complex projectsIn-depth knowledge of HV/LV systems, critical power, and redundancy philosophiesConfident client-facing professional with strong communication skillsAbility to operate autonomously in a senior leadership roleComfortable working in a hybrid / remote model with travel as requiredWhat’s on Offer€100,000 base salaryTravel allowance and performance bonusHybrid and remote working flexibilityWork on flagship European data centre and pharmaceutical programmesLong-term career progression within a respected UK consultancyStrong technical culture with emphasis on quality and innovation
