Project Planner / Senior PlannerLocation: Sines, PortugalPackage: €65,000 – €85,000 + Accommodation + Transport + Rotation + Living Cost p/mType: Full-Time | On-SiteSector: Hyperscale Data Centres | Mission-Critical InfrastructureA leading European Tier 1 contractor is seeking experienced Project Planners to support the delivery of a major hyperscale data centre campus in Sines, Portugal.This organisation delivers complex, large-scale mission-critical infrastructure projects across Europe, working with global technology clients on some of the most technically demanding data centre developments currently under construction. With a strong pipeline of hyperscale and advanced technology projects, this role offers long-term security, exposure to flagship campuses, and progression into senior planning leadership roles.As Project Planner, you will play a key role in developing, managing, and controlling integrated project programmes across CSA, MEP, and commissioning workstreams. You will work closely with project directors, construction managers, engineering, and commercial teams to ensure programme certainty from early works through to final handover.This is a site-based role on a large, fast-paced hyperscale campus environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain fully integrated project programmes covering CSA, MEP, and commissioning activitiesEstablish baseline schedules, milestones, and phase logic aligned with project execution strategyMonitor progress against programme, identifying risks, delays, and recovery strategiesProduce short-term lookaheads (2, 4, 6, and 12-week) to support construction planningCoordinate closely with construction, engineering, and commercial teams to align programme and resourcesAnalyse schedule impacts from design changes, procurement delays, and site constraintsSupport change management, EOT assessments, and mitigation planningProvide accurate weekly and monthly programme reporting to senior project leadershipInterface with subcontractors to validate schedules and progress updatesSupport commissioning and handover sequencing to meet client milestonesEnsure programme data is accurate, consistent, and aligned with reporting standardsSkills & QualificationsDegree-qualified in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related disciplineMinimum 5+ years’ experience in a planning role within construction or engineeringStrong experience delivering programmes on data centre, mission-critical, pharmaceutical, or industrial projectsProficient in Primavera P6 (essential) and Microsoft ProjectStrong understanding of CSA, MEP, and commissioning sequencingAbility to work in fast-paced, high-pressure site environmentsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsDetail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilityEU passport or right to work in Portugal requiredWhat’s on OfferWork on a flagship hyperscale data centre campus in SinesLong-term pipeline of European mission-critical projectsStrong support from experienced planning and project leadership teamsCompetitive salary with full overseas packageClear progression into Senior Planner or Planning Manager roles
