You will lead the design function across mechanical, electrical, and public health services, ensuring seamless collaboration between internal engineering teams, external consultants, and the client’s design group. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in technically complex environments and wants to shape the engineering delivery of high-value data centre facilities.Key ResponsibilitiesLead all design coordination with the client’s design team and discipline leadsManage in-house design engineers and external consultants to ensure timely deliveryChair design workshops and proactively resolve design clashes before site executionOversee the Technical Submittal (TS) process and ensure full compliance with project specsManage RFIs, design queries, documentation, and weekly design reviewsControl IFC (Issued for Construction) drawing releases and design change managementMaintain a project-wide design risk register and report to senior leadershipCoordinate FFE package design submissions for administrative areasProduce weekly design progress and risk reportsOversee contractor construction drawing reviews, approvals, and as-built documentationEnsure all O&M documentation is delivered and uploaded to client platformsManage compliance with LEED, BIM, and other project-specific design standardsEngage with Temporary Works Designers and manage design risk assessmentsCoordinate with OFCI vendors and manage technical submittalsRequirementsDegree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or a related field)10+ years in MEP design management or engineering leadershipStrong background in data centres, large-scale MEP, or mission-critical projectsExcellent stakeholder and multidisciplinary coordination skillsStrong understanding of QA/QC, design workflows, and change controlExperience with BIM, LEED, and modern collaboration platforms preferredWhat’s on OfferPremium €100K–€105K salaryAccommodation + transport fully providedRotation for work-life balance€1,000 annual living allowanceWork on major hyperscale data centre projectsStrong internal progression opportunitiesJoin a high-performing, collaborative technical leadership team
