With group turnover exceeding €1.5bn and a secured order book for the next three years, they continue to grow their European project delivery teams.Due to continued expansion, they are now seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join the delivery team on a major hyperscale data centre project in Sweden.The Mechanical Project Manager will take full responsibility for the delivery of the mechanical package on site, from coordination and procurement through installation, commissioning support, and handover. This is a senior role requiring strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage complex, high-value mechanical works in a mission-critical environment.Key Responsibilities:• Manage the full mechanical scope on a large-scale data centre project• Lead mechanical subcontractors and site-based engineering teams• Oversee programme, sequencing, and short-term planning of mechanical works• Manage budgets, variations, and cost control in conjunction with commercial teams• Ensure mechanical installations meet design, specification, and quality requirements• Coordinate mechanical works with electrical, CSA, and commissioning teams• Manage technical queries, RFIs, and design coordination issues• Drive health & safety standards across all mechanical activities• Support commissioning, testing, and final handover to the clientRequirements:• Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager on data centre or large-scale MEP projects• Strong technical background in HVAC and mechanical building services• Experience working for a main contractor or Tier 1 / large specialist contractor• Commercially aware with experience managing subcontractor packages• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-specification environment• EU work rights or eligibility to work in SwedenWhy Apply?• Flagship hyperscale data centre project with long-term programme• Strong pipeline of European data centre work beyond this project• Well-resourced site team and structured project delivery environment• Opportunity to lead a major mechanical package on a mission-critical buildPackage:Highly competitive salary, rotational or relocation package, accommodation, travel, bonus, and additional benefits.
