Authorised Person (AP) – Electrical (HV)Location: Sandviken, SwedenEligibility: EU Passport Holders OnlySalary: €90,000 – €100,000 per year + Accommodation + Transport + Rotation 17/4 + €1,300 Net Living Allowance per MonthA leading European contractor delivering large-scale, mission-critical data centre projects is seeking an experienced Authorised Person (AP) – Electrical to join a major site team in Sandviken, Sweden.This is a critical duty-holder role focused on electrical safety leadership, HV/LV permit control, and the safe energisation and commissioning of complex power systems in a live project environment. Key ResponsibilitiesImplement and manage the project Electrical Safe System of Work (ESSoW)Act as the primary electrical safety duty holder across HV/LV systemsIssue and control Electrical Permits to Work (PTW) for energised activitiesReview drawings, schematics, SLDs, and technical specifications for safety and commissioning requirementsPrepare switching schedules, isolation procedures, RAMS, LOTO and energisation plansCoordinate with Testing & Commissioning contractors to deliver safe energisation sequencingSupport MV/LV system start-up and energisation in line with approved safety rulesWitness SAT, pre-energisation and post-energisation testing activitiesEnsure tagging, walkdowns, verification and sign-off are completed before energisationLiaise with BMS / EPMS / SCADA / EMS teams for safe operational handoverPromote best practice electrical safety culture across the siteEssential RequirementsQualificationsDegree in Electrical Engineering / Building Services or Electrical Trade background with substantial experienceRecognised HV Authorised Person certificationStrong working knowledge of Electrical Safety Rules systemsExperienceMinimum 5+ years’ experience in AP / Electrical Safety / Energisation rolesExperience on mission-critical builds (Data Centres, Pharma, Industrial, Infrastructure)Proven background in MV/LV switching, isolation, energisation and live environmentsMinimum 3 years in electrical testing and verificationStrong contractor and commissioning coordination experienceTechnical CompetenceElectrical protection and discrimination principlesEarthing systems, switchgear topology, busbar systems and interlockingFAT/SAT documentation reviewFamiliarity with BMS, EPMS, SCADA and EMS integrationAbility to interpret SLDs, schematics, cable schedules and technical dataPersonal AttributesSafety-driven with exceptional attention to detailStrong communicator across multi-discipline teamsProcess-focused and highly organisedConfident decision-maker under pressure
