MEP Commissioning Engineer Our client is a leading MEP Sub-Contractor operating across the UK, Ireland and Europe. They specialise in delivering major Mechanical & Electrical packages for Tier 1 main contractors on mission-critical technology projects, including Data Centres, Pharmaceutical facilities, Semi-Conductor plants and heavy industrial schemes.The RoleThey are seeking a highly experienced MEP Commissioning Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join their commissioning team on a large-scale Data Centre project in Sweden. This is a key role requiring deep technical knowledge, strong leadership capabilities and a proven track record in commissioning complex electrical and integrated MEP systems.Key Responsibilities:• Lead and oversee commissioning activities for electrical systems and associated MEP services• Develop and review commissioning plans, schedules, method statements and test documentation• Execute and validate testing of electrical plant, LV/MV distribution, UPS, generators, control systems and critical infrastructure• Collaborate closely with mechanical, controls, QA/QC and project management teams to ensure system integration• Coordinate subcontractors, manage commissioning milestones and support client witnessing• Identify technical issues, implement solutions and ensure all systems meet performance and safety standards• Provide input into handover documentation and final sign-off processesRequirements:• Extensive commissioning experience within MEP, electrical building services or mission-critical environments• Strong electrical engineering background with in-depth knowledge of data centre or large industrial systems• Demonstrated ability to lead commissioning packages and interface with multiple stakeholders• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills• Comfortable working on international projects and based in Sweden for the project durationWhat’s on Offer:• Opportunity to take a senior role on a major European data centre development• Attractive salary and comprehensive travel/accommodation package• Long-term career prospects within a prestigious MEP contractor• Exposure to high-value, technologically advanced commissioning environmentsIf you are a senior Commissioning Engineer with an electrical bias and a strong track record on complex projects, please send your CV or contact us for a confidential discussion.
