Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to oversee site compliance and ensure adherence to all current HSE legislation and company safety standards. The successful candidate will hold a NEBOSH qualification and have a strong background in construction or civil engineering environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and enforce compliance with site health and safety regulations.
Conduct regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments across all active work areas.
Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings to site teams.
Investigate and report incidents, near misses, and unsafe practices.
Liaise with site management, subcontractors, and external auditors to ensure consistent HSE performance.
Maintain and update health and safety documentation, ensuring compliance with company and legislative requirements.
Promote a strong health and safety culture across all site personnel.

Requirements:

NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (essential)
Strong working knowledge of CDM Regulations and HSE guidance
Previous experience working on construction, civil engineering, or M&E projects
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to influence and promote best practice at all levels

Preferred:

Membership of IOSH or equivalent professional body
First Aid at Work certification
Environmental awareness or sustainability training
