Senior Mechanical Engineer (Building Services) – Dublin We are currently partnering with a leading building services consultancy in Dublin to appoint a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects across Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to take ownership of projects while progressing toward Associate level within a well-established and growing consultancy. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and delivery of mechanical building services systems across the full project lifecycle, from early-stage concept through to construction and handover. You will collaborate closely with clients, architects, and multidisciplinary teams, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and efficient design solutions. Key ResponsibilitiesLead mechanical (HVAC) design across multiple projects Deliver designs from concept, detailed design, through to construction stage Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders across disciplines Ensure compliance with Irish and UK building regulations and standards Support project delivery, technical reviews, and client engagement Contribute to value engineering and design optimisation Requirements8–12 years’ experience within building services engineering Strong consultancy background (essential) Proven experience in HVAC / mechanical design Solid understanding of Irish and UK standards and regulations Experience working across sectors such as commercial, education, remediation or similar Ability to manage workload across multiple projects Candidate ProfileStrong communication and client-facing skills Experience coordinating or taking ownership of projects Ambitious and motivated to progress into a leadership/Associate role Commercial awareness and ability to contribute to project success Salary & Progression€95,000 – €105,000 depending on experience Clear pathway toward Associate level Progression linked to leadership, client development, and commercial performance Additional InformationCandidates must be based in Ireland Consultancy experience is strongly preferred
