Senior Electrical Engineer (Building Services) – DublinWe are currently working with a well-established building services consultancy in Dublin to recruit a Senior Electrical Engineer to support the delivery of a wide range of projects across Ireland.This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of electrical design packages while progressing toward Associate level within a dynamic and growing team.As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical building services designs across the full project lifecycle — from concept through to construction and commissioning. You will work closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure technically robust and compliant solutions across a variety of sectors.Key ResponsibilitiesLead electrical design (LV/HV systems, lighting, power, life safety systems) across projects Deliver designs from concept, detailed design, through to construction stage Coordinate with mechanical, architectural, and structural teams Ensure compliance with Irish and UK electrical standards and regulations Manage project deliverables, technical reviews, and client interactions Contribute to value engineering and efficient system design Requirements8–12 years’ experience in electrical building services engineering Strong consultancy background (essential) Proven experience in electrical design across multiple project stages Solid understanding of Irish and UK standards (ET101, BS standards, etc.) Experience across sectors such as commercial, education, healthcare, or similar Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Candidate ProfileStrong communicator with client-facing experience Proven ability to take ownership or coordinate projects Ambitious with a clear desire to progress to Associate level Commercial awareness and delivery-focused mindset Salary & Progression€95,000 – €105,000 depending on experience Clear pathway toward Associate level Progression linked to leadership, client engagement, and commercial performance Additional InformationCandidates must be based in Ireland Consultancy experience is highly preferred
