With a strong reputation for technical excellence and high-quality project delivery, the company operates across a wide range of sectors including commercial developments, advanced manufacturing, infrastructure, and mission-critical data centre facilities.Due to continued growth within the data centre sector, our client is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join the delivery team on a major data centre project in Amsterdam.The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all electrical works on site, ensuring systems are installed, tested, and commissioned in line with project requirements, safety standards, and programme milestones. Working closely with project management, design teams, subcontractors, and client representatives, the Electrical Engineer will play a key role in delivering a high-quality, reliable, and efficient mission-critical facility.The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, MEP teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure all electrical systems are delivered in line with design intent, programme requirements, and safety standards.Key Responsibilities• Manage and coordinate all electrical construction works on a large-scale data centre project in Amsterdam• Supervise and support subcontractors delivering electrical packages including LV/MV distribution, UPS systems, generators, switchgear, and associated infrastructure• Ensure all electrical works are delivered in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and programme deadlines• Monitor on-site progress and enforce strict quality control procedures across all electrical installations• Promote and maintain a strong health & safety culture across all electrical activities• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and design teams to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project delivery• Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems• Assist in the preparation and review of method statements, risk assessments, and commissioning plans• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with company standards and local regulations• Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, QA records, and test results• Support overall project delivery to ensure alignment with programme milestones and client expectationsIn Return, Our Client OffersNegotiable basic salaryAccommodation and relocation support (where applicable)Flights and travel allowanceAttractive bonus structureHealthcarePensionOpportunity to work on a flagship European data centre project with strong long-term career progression within a growing international contractor
