About the Role
We are recruiting an experienced Facilities Manager to take senior responsibility for facilities operations within a large, live hospitality environment. This is a hands-on leadership role, suited to someone who understands the demands of operating complex buildings where downtime is not an option and standards are non-negotiable.
You will manage the on-site maintenance function, oversee compliance and PPM delivery, and act as the key technical interface between the site and senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the on-site maintenance team
- Coordinate and control specialist subcontractors
- Respond to and manage critical incidents and escalations
- Maintain high standards across guest-facing and operational areas
- Liaise closely with site management to support day-to-day operations
- Monitor performance, report issues, and drive continuous improvement
- Ensure accurate job tracking and documentation using CAFM / job systems
- Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works
- Ensure statutory compliance across all relevant systems and assets
Essential Experience & Skills
- Proven experience in a Facilities Manager or Senior Maintenance role
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Background in hospitality, healthcare, leisure, or complex commercial sites preferred
- Strong working knowledge of M&E systems, building fabric, and plant
- Confident people manager with a hands-on, problem-solving approach
- Able to work calmly under pressure in a live operational environment
- Comfortable using maintenance management systems (training provided if required)
