Mechanical Lead€100,000 - €120,000 + Accommodation + Rotation/ Flights + Travel + 28K living allowance Location: Frankfurt, GermanyType: Full-Time | On-SiteSector: Data Centres | Mission-Critical Infrastructure A leading European engineering and construction specialist is seeking an experienced Mechanical Lead to take responsibility for the mechanical package on a large-scale data centre project in Frankfurt. You will lead the mechanical delivery on site, managing safety, quality, programme, cost, and subcontractor performance while supporting and mentoring engineers and supervisors within your team. Key ResponsibilitiesLead site safety for the mechanical package in coordination with the project and safety teamsManage mechanical QA processes from set-up through to close-outControl programme delivery in line with project schedules and client requirementsManage all costs associated with the mechanical package, including labour, subcontractors, materials, plant, variations, and valuationsOversee day-to-day mechanical site operations and subcontractor performanceTrack progress, manpower, and productivity against programmeEnsure procurement schedules are in place and materials are delivered on timeManage snagging and punch list close-outAttend site, planning, coordination, and handover meetingsPrepare and issue weekly progress, safety, and labour reportsSupport change management for cost and programme impactsMentor and support junior engineers and supervisorsEnsure all documentation (QA, safety, O&M manuals) is maintained and closed out correctlyRequirementsTrade background and/or relevant third-level qualificationMinimum 5 years’ experience in a Mechanical Lead, Package Manager, or Project Engineering roleProven experience delivering large-scale mechanical installation projectsStrong knowledge of health & safety and design & build environmentsGood technical understanding of mechanical systems (electrical knowledge beneficial)Strong organisational, reporting, and IT skillsWhat’s on OfferWork on a major data centre project in GermanyLong-term opportunities with a leading European contractorStructured, professional project environmentCompetitive salary and benefits packageCareer development and progression opportunities
