Electrical Engineer – Senior (Data Centres)Location: Dublin, Ireland | Type: Permanent or Contract | Salary: €95,000–€115,000 + Pension + Healthcare + BonusA world-class engineering consultancy delivering high-performance data centre and mission-critical facilities is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their Dublin-based design delivery team.The Role:Lead the design of LV/HV distribution systems, UPS, generators, lighting, and power systems for hyperscale data centres.Manage all electrical design stages – concept, schematic, detailed, tender, and construction support.Interface directly with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure technical excellence and alignment with project requirements.Coordinate designs with mechanical, structural, and architectural teams using BIM/Revit workflows.Implement energy efficiency, sustainability, and digital engineering best practices.Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.Requirements:Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering.8–12 years’ electrical design experience, ideally within data centre or mission-critical projects.Chartered or near-chartered engineer.Strong knowledge of IEC and EN standards, low-voltage design, and redundancy configurations.Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and electrical design software (e.g., Amtech, ETAP).
