The Role: What You’ll Be Doing
You won’t just be another cog in the machine – you’ll be fully responsible for the financial performance of your projects, from procurement through to cash collection.
You’ll be hands-on, analytical, and deeply involved in every commercial aspect of our M&E and general build contracts. You’ll get stuck into:
- Measuring and pricing tenders and projects from the ground up
- Identifying risks in contract documentation and working proactively to resolve them
- Driving cost efficiency while securing maximum value
- Managing subcontractors and suppliers to avoid reliance and protect margins
- Creating and maintaining accurate CVRs, forecasts, valuations, and final accounts
- Leading payment applications, retention tracking, and proactive debt recovery
- Building lasting client relationships to open doors to repeat business
- Supporting our tender and bid teams with sharp commercial insight
- Taking ownership of our Evision system for real-time cost control and billing
What You Need to Bring
Proven Quantity Surveying experience with M&E exposure
Strong knowledge of pricing general build projects
Financially savvy – you live and breathe numbers, margins, and forecasts
Skilled in contract negotiation, variation tracking, and cash collection
Familiar with CVR management and commercial reporting
Experience using systems like Evision or similar ERP platforms
A proactive attitude and a collaborative mindset
