I require an experienced Commercial Manager to join an established business working in the engineering sector on high profile projects.

My client idealy wants someone to come on board and take a top spot within a division managing a small commercial team on high profile MEP projects.

This role would suit anyone who has managed a team of quantity surveyors (2/3) and has covered some of the duties below.

Based from their office in Central London your key accountabilities would be:

Accountability for driving clear strategy on operational delivery, customer engagement, commercial excellence and maintaining the clients status on the framework
People training, succession and development
Using sound management skills to deliver multiple and complex commitment and objectives and consistently use financial levers to grow profitability for the portfolio and business unit
Actively engage with all internal and external stakeholders adapting personal style to suit the needs of individuals and the team
Regularly review, provide guidance and challenge on strategic (project) and business unit objectives
Ensure that the commercial function within the business unit effectively supports the operational teams
