About the Role

An experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor is required to support the commercial delivery of multiple MEP projects across London. The M&E Quantity Surveyor will take ownership of cost management, valuations and subcontractor accounts across live mechanical and electrical packages.

This M&E Quantity Surveyor position will suit someone confident managing both mechanical and electrical packages within a fast-paced contractor environment. The M&E Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for ensuring accurate cost reporting, variation management and commercial control from procurement through to final account. The M&E Quantity Surveyor will also work closely with project delivery teams to ensure commercial alignment with programme and site progress.

Key responsibilities:

Management of M&E package cost control across live projects
Preparation and submission of valuations and applications for payment
Management of subcontractor accounts and payments
Valuation and negotiation of variations and change orders
Production of cost reports and CVRs
Monitoring project budgets and forecasting final accounts
Working closely with project managers and site teams
Supporting procurement of specialist M&E subcontractors
Ensuring compliance with contractual requirements (JCT/NEC as applicable)
Assisting in final account negotiations and settlements
