Business Development Manager – M&E Maintenance / Hard FM
Location: Kent (with travel across London and the South East)
Salary: £70,000 – £80,000 per annum + Bonus & Excellent Benefits

We are recruiting for an experienced Business Development Manager; a hunter with a proven track record in winning contracts within M&E Maintenance or other Hard FM/Facilities Management services.

About the Role

Your primary focus will be to target new business, build strong business relationships, open doors to develop and secure maintenance contracts wins with new clients, particularly within:

Education
Local Authorities
Managing agents
Commercial property sector

You’ll manage your own diary, with flexibility to travel throughout London and the South East.

Key Responsibilities

Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities
Build strong relationships with both new and existing clients
Target sectors include education, commercial offices, local authorities, and managing agents
Attend meetings, events, and networking opportunities
Create and manage a sales pipeline and contribute to campaigns
Present services and tailored solutions confidently
Use CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) to manage prospects and activities

About You

Proven success in selling M&E Maintenance or Hard FM services

Experience dealing with:

Managing agents (commercial properties)
Multi-site landlords
Education sector
Local authorities (London and surrounding areas)
Confident in delivering presentations and pitches
Strong commercial and financial acumen
Able to build relationships and generate long-term business
Experienced CRM user (Salesforce desirable)
