The Opportunity

The way we build is changing, and you could be part of what comes next.

At Holcim UK, we're finding new ways to make construction more sustainable, innovative and ready for the future. From homes and schools to hospitals and major infrastructure, what we do helps shape the places people live, work and grow.

With more than 4,000 colleagues across over 200 sites in the UK, you'll be joining a team that's making a real difference every day.

This isn't just about learning a trade. It's about gaining real skills, working with people who know their stuff and playing your part in building a more sustainable future.

Get Powered Up

Fascinated by technology and electrical systems? Want to help power the future of sustainable construction? Looking for a career where you're doing, learning and earning from day one?

Then come and build your future with Holcim UK.

As an Electrical Apprentice, you'll be at the forefront of powering our operations, learning from experienced engineers to maintain automation systems, install green tech and keep our sites running safely.

Get stuck in from day one

You'll be working alongside experienced electrical engineers, getting hands on with real power systems and technology and learning how things work in the real world.

You'll build practical skills in electrical maintenance, fault finding and green technology integration, while working towards a nationally recognised qualification.

Every day will bring something different. You'll have the chance to learn, ask questions, try things out and build your confidence as you go.

And because you'll be learning on the job, you'll see the impact of what you do straight away.

Who are we looking for?

You don't need to know everything about electrical engineering already.

We're looking for people who are analytical, safety-conscious and tech-minded. If you're the kind of person who enjoys solving technical puzzles, understanding circuit logic and working with technology, we'd love to hear from you.

You'll also have the opportunity to show us what you can do through a practical skills assessment, giving you the chance to demonstrate your natural ability and problem solving skills.

Ready to build something bigger?

You'll earn while you learn, gain a recognised qualification and build real experience that can take you wherever you want to go.

Your career starts here. Come build it with Holcim UK.

We are committed to building a diverse environment and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer. You will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, disability or age.
