We are currently supporting a number of well-established Building Services Consultancies across Leeds in the recruitment of Intermediate to Senior Mechanical and Electrical Design Engineers.
These opportunities are available with a range of multidisciplinary and specialist MEP consultancies, offering exposure to projects across the commercial, residential, healthcare, education, life sciences, mixed-use and data centre sectors.
Typical Responsibilities
- Design of mechanical or electrical building services systems
- Production of calculations, technical specifications and drawings
- Working with software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Amtech, Dialux, Hevacomp and IESVE (depending on the role)
- Supporting projects from concept through to completion
- Attending site visits, surveys and client meetings
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary design teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions
Typical Requirements
- Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
- Experience working within a UK Building Services Consultancy
- Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and CIBSE guidance
- Experience using relevant Building Services design software
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
