A well-established building services contractor is looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys taking full ownership of projects within a supportive, close-knit environment where quality delivery and teamwork are key.

You’ll be responsible for managing multiple mechanical projects simultaneously, overseeing all aspects from pre-construction through to final handover. Projects will typically range across commercial fit-out and refurbishment schemes, with values varying up to £1m+. This role would suit someone who is hands-on, commercially aware, and confident managing both site teams and client relationships.

The company delivers a range of mechanical building services projects across commercial, education, healthcare, and industrial sectors, with a strong reputation for repeat business and high-quality delivery.

The Role

Manage and oversee multiple mechanical projects from pre-construction through to completion
Coordinate labour, materials, subcontractors, and site activities across live projects
Attend client and site meetings, maintaining strong working relationships throughout
Assist with project planning, procurement, and programme management
Manage project budgets, variations, and commercial reporting
Oversee RFIs, technical queries, and project documentation
Ensure all health & safety procedures and regulations are adhered to on site

The Person

Previous experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within building services or M&E contracting
Strong knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems
Comfortable managing multiple projects at once
Commercially aware with experience managing budgets and programmes
Strong leadership and communication skills
Hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to problem solve on site
Able to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and site teams
