About the Role
We are looking for a driven professional to oversee installations at YEO. In this role, you will bridge the gap between project planning and live-site execution, ensuring fitting teams deliver exceptional results on time and to the highest standards. From pre-project surveying to the final client handover and into aftercare, you will be the driving force behind our on-site success.
Key Responsibilities
Team & Operations Management
- Manage outsourced fitting teams, continuously driving process improvement.
- Develop and maintain a trusted network of local, independent sub-contractors.
- Monitor departmental workload, keeping weekly progress charts updated for all staff and projects.
- Oversee the maintenance, stocking, and cleanliness of all site vehicles and equipment.
- Create and implement official YEO standard installation procedures.
Pre-Project Planning
- Provide accurate time estimates for prospective installation projects.
- Conduct site assessments and surveys, identifying potential issues for Project Managers early on.
- Schedule fitters, organise deliveries, and book overnight accommodation for the teams as needed.
Live Project Execution
- Allocate work effectively on-site to ensure strict deadlines are met.
- Liaise closely with site contractors, M&E teams, and external suppliers.
- Schedule and oversee third-party templating and installation (e.g., stone worktops, glass).
- Step in to personally undertake hands-on installation work when required.
- Manage the final stages: commissioning appliances, creating maintenance guides, arranging the final clean, and managing the client handover.
- Oversee the ongoing aftercare process after project completion.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience in installation management, fitting, or site management.
- A hands-on leader who is punctual, professional, and always striving for excellence.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills (experience managing timesheets, schedules, and project checklists).
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with Project Managers, contractors, and clients.
