This organisation delivers full turnkey mission-critical campuses across Europe, supporting global technology clients through design coordination, installation, commissioning, and handover. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be a key part of the delivery of complex mechanical systems on site, overseeing HVAC, chilled water, and critical plant installation. You will coordinate contractors, manage documentation, support installation quality, and ensure all works are executed safely, compliantly, and to programme. These are hands-on, site-based roles in a fast-paced construction environment.Key ResponsibilitiesManage client communications related to mechanical servicesCoordinate contractors and ensure mechanical systems integrate with MEP worksReview and manage technical drawings, specifications, and mechanical documentationProvide design management oversight and guidance to site teamsPrepare method statements and risk assessments for construction activitiesOversee installation sequencing for pipework, ductwork, and plant to meet scheduled datesValidate project scope, technical procurement, and specialist sub-contractor engagementSupport installation quality and programme delivery from site works to commissioningDocument and cost changes to work scopes, including monthly valuations and final account preparationMaintain compliance with IMS, health & safety, and quality standards on siteRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplineMinimum 5+ years’ experience in mechanical engineering within M&E contracting environmentsExperience on data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial, or large commercial projects highly advantageousStrong understanding of HVAC systems, chilled water, pumps, and critical plant installationProven ability to coordinate subcontractors and manage mechanical works on siteStrong organisational, communication, and time management skillsProficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ProjectProcess-driven with a focus on quality, compliance, and safetyWhat’s On OfferWork on one of Europe’s most advanced hyperscale data centre projects in MilanLong-term pipeline of mission-critical projects across EuropeOpportunities to progress into Lead Engineer or Package Management rolesFull European package: Rotation + Accommodation + Transport + Monthly Living AllowanceCollaborative, high-performing site delivery team
