Working throughout the UK rail network, CPMS provides a diverse range of services including – Station platform construction, maintenance and refurbishment works. We also undertake bridgeworks, station roofs and canopies. Building maintenance and refurbishment is carried out in stations, depots, signal boxes, lineside buildings, arches, carparks and roadways. We currently undertake PPM and reactive maintenance tasks as well as Civil and HVAC works and M&E services. Our clients include Network Rail, Train Operating Companies, Freight Operating Companies, Heritage Railways and Light Rail.
About the Role
Due to our continued growth, we now have an opportunity for a Plumber to join our team, working throughout Scotland with our Head Office based in Elderslie.
Reporting to the Works Delivery Manager, the successful candidate should be a qualified Plumber and will be responsible for undertaking pre-planned maintenance, repairs and new installations within the commercial sector.
Role Responsibilities
- Plumbing tasks, including reactive and planned maintenance
- Implementation of works as instructed by supervisor
- Ensure work is executed and completed to a professional/acceptable standard and within given timescales
- Comply in accordance with Health & Safety regulations at all times
- Ensure you are complying with PPE company standards
- This role also requires the successful Plumber to participate in on-call coverage, via a rota system.

- Time-served Plumber
- Driving licence
Desirable
- Personal Track Safety (PTS) card
- Experience working within the Rail industry
- Experience in reactive plumbing maintenance
- Gas safe qualified
