Electrical Project LeadOur client is a multi-disciplined main contractor operating across the UK and Europe with a turnover of €750m and sustained annual growth of 5%–7.5%. They deliver large-scale, turnkey projects for blue-chip clients, with a strong focus on data centres and other technology-heavy developments.Following a recent project win, our client is now seeking an experienced Electrical Project Lead to take responsibility for the delivery of the electrical scope on a major data centre project in Frankfurt, Germany. This is a senior leadership role overseeing complex, high-value electrical packages on a technically demanding, fast-paced project.The RoleReporting to the Project Director / MEP Lead, the Electrical Project Lead will have overall responsibility for the planning, coordination, and delivery of the electrical works from design through to commissioning and handover. Key responsibilities include:• Leading the delivery of all electrical systems on the project• Managing electrical subcontractors and specialist suppliers• Overseeing electrical design development and technical compliance• Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme, quality, and safety requirements• Coordinating closely with CSA, mechanical, and commissioning teams• Managing interfaces, technical queries, and design change• Supporting procurement and commercial teams with technical input• Driving progress, resolving issues, and reporting to senior project leadership• Supporting testing, commissioning, and client handover activitiesRequirements• Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline• Extensive experience delivering electrical packages on large-scale projects• Strong background in data centres, mission-critical, pharma, or highly serviced environments• Proven leadership experience managing subcontractors and site teams• Excellent technical knowledge of electrical systems and installation practices• Strong understanding of health & safety and quality management systems• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills• Willingness to be site-based in Frankfurt (rotational or expat basis)What’s on Offer• Highly competitive salary• Accommodation provided• Living and travel allowances• Pension and healthcare• Rotational flights• Bonus system• Senior leadership role on a flagship data centre project• Long-term career progression within a rapidly expanding international contractor• Opportunity to work on technically complex, high-value projects for blue-chip clientsThis position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Project Lead to take ownership of a major electrical scope on one of Europe’s most advanced data centre developments.
