What you’ll do
Take charge of designing electrical services covering RIBA stages 3 to 5.
You’ll specify small power, lighting, security and data equipment making sure everything is efficiently designed.
You’ll also use advanced software to calculate and optimise your designs, giving you hands-on experience with the tools that matter most.
What you’ll need
- At least 5 years’ experience in building services design, so you’re confident in creating electrical systems that work in the real world
- Strong commercial awareness, allowing you to balance performance with cost and deliver value to clients
- A desire to mentor others, as you’ll be helping junior engineers develop their skills
