The role involves supporting mechanical installation, coordination, quality, and project delivery within a highly regulated environment. Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and support mechanical systems installation, including piping, HVAC, utilities, and process equipmentPrepare and review method statements, risk assessments, and mechanical construction documentationAssist in mechanical design reviews and coordinate with design teams through the RFI processProduce mechanical material take-offs, equipment schedules, and technical submissionsMonitor site progress against programme and issue mechanical progress reportsCoordinate with subcontractors to ensure mechanical works are delivered to specification and scheduleConduct quality inspections, snagging, and compliance checks for all mechanical elementsSupport commissioning teams with testing, handover documentation, and system readinessMaintain document control for all mechanical-related project informationUndertake additional duties as required by project managementWhat We’re Looking ForStrong technical understanding of mechanical engineering within constructionExperience in pharmaceutical, biotech, life science, or other highly regulated sectors (preferred)Good commercial awareness relating to mechanical packagesKnowledge of HSE systems, mechanical standards, and industry regulationsExcellent coordination and communication skillsAbility to work closely with multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors
